Our Vision

Mission Statement
We are committed to preserve and promote American Indian cultural, tradition, and educational awareness in the Carolina Piedmont area.

We preserve and perpetuate American Indian culture and to advance understanding by presenting the accomplishments and evolving history of the American Indian people of North Carolina with dignity and respect.
Preserve the American Indian cultural identity through workshops, cultural exhibits, American Indian representatives and cultural performances.

To provide various activities that encourage the longevity of American Indian cultural identity.

Dedication to Education
Promote culturally responsive teaching strategies and materials that validate the cultural identity of American Indian children and adults.

Network across the educational community to advocate for native students and teachers teaching American Indian culture.

Foster the importance of American Indian education within the public school system.

Provide in-service training to inspire and instruct educators in a variety of methods; to teach about American Indian traditions, as well as cultural identity.
